Kiana is a communication specialist, designer and video editor that is passionate about creating impactful and effective messaging that inspires and moves clients. She has a diverse portfolio of creative projects designed for roles at Bell Canada as well as projects made for independent work.
Her communication experience ranges from the design and distribution of digital signage made for internal marketing to production of engagement videos featuring company executives. In all aspects of her roles, Kiana has always been a leader in creating new, exciting and innovative communication strategies that have led to increased engagement and better KPI results.
In her role as a communications coordinator with Bell Mobility, Kiana has increased the array of creative products the team is able to create. She specializes in the team on the writing, filming and distributing effective and engaging video content to frontline agents. This includes producing informative videos for yearly Town Halls such as an animated video on “Natural Language Processing”, tool demonstrations and more. She has also produced many employee engagement videos for Bell Mobility such as yearly holiday videos from the executive team distributed to frontline agents as well as incentive winner congratulations videos. She has also designed and presented a lunch and learn session with company leaders on the design of effective presentations and how to compel your audience with your presentation.
Prior to her current role with Bell Mobility, Kiana also worked as a project manager at Expertech Network Installation where she managed multiple FTTN and FTTH installation projects. She handled distributing hours to splicers, managing project timelines, processing roadblocks, and ensuring all materials needed for projects is available for project completion. In this role, Kiana also managed a report of all current and past FTTN projects as well as developed FTTN training document to use for FTTN PMs after her departure from the company.
Kiana’s journey into corporate communications and project management in Bell Canada started with two summer-student contract positions with the VMS Release Management team at Bell Canada. In this role, she began in 2015 writing reports on different CISCO software used by Bell Canada VMS clients that highlighted the bugs and security advisories that might be affecting their systems. Her first year with this team she showed initiative and critical thinking to her peers and senior leadership and hired back in the same role for summer of 2016.
Kiana is a leader and creative thinker in every role she has taken on during and post her graduation from the University of Toronto. This is especially notable in her receiving five Wall of Fame awards in her two and a half years working with Bell Mobility and the countless thanks and bravos received from her team.
She has earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto in Communication, Culture and Information Technology (CCIT) as well as a certificate from Sheridan College on Digital Communications. Her education continues with post-secondary course “Foundations of Digital Marketing Management” taken with the University of Toronto: School of Continuing Studies as well as LinkedIn Learning Courses “Content Marketing: Staying Relevant” and “Visual Communication for Businesses: The Marketers Secret Weapon”.
